Description

Pinks Cottage is a 17th-century cottage dated 1674, featuring the initials I.S. carved on a pad above the main beam over the inglenook fireplace. The cottage is timber framed and rendered, topped with a thatched, half-hipped roof and a ridge stack. It has a two-bay layout with a lobby entry plan and consists of one storey with attics. There are two dormers and two 20th-century windows on either side of the doorway. Inside, some wall framing with short upward bracing is visible, and the floors are supported by original clamps that are pegged to the studs.
