This milestone, located on the Great North Road opposite the Police House, dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is inscribed with the distances of '66 miles to London' and '9 miles to Stilton'. The milestone is associated with the records of the Alconbury Hill-Tempsford Turnpike Trust.
