Description

The bridge crossing Alconbury Brook is a 15th-century structure that spans the brook from east to west. It is built of limestone ashlar with brick parapets and repairs. The bridge features four pointed, segmental, chamfered arches, except for the north-facing rounded eastern arch, which is made of brick. The southern face of the second arch has been repainted in brick, and there are cutwaters on the northern face.
