Description

This is a 17th-century cottage, possibly with origins in the 16th century. It has a gable end facing the road and is constructed with a timber frame, now rendered. The roof is thatched and has a half-hip design. A red brick ridge stack with grouped diagonal shafts is present; it originally bore a plaque dated 1655, now incorrectly displayed as 1633 on a modern slate panel, as recorded in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments for Huntingdonshire. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and features three dormers. The windows and doors are modern.
