Description
Lee Court, consisting of Nos 1-6, is an early 18th-century building that was refronted in the mid-19th century. It is two storeys high and features a double front with three windows. The rear of the building has a red brick wing with a band at the first floor level and a tarred face. There is also a rear extension that includes half-timbering and modern alterations. The roof is tiled and has gable stacks. The front is made of multi-coloured stock brick with a dentil eaves course. The windows are mostly recessed sash windows, typically with three lights. The shopfront is well-crafted, featuring wooden pilasters that support an entablature, along with a shop window and a half-glazed doorway with small panels. The house doorway includes a fanlight and a panelled door. Nos 4 to 6 on St Mary's Street and 1-12 on Lee Court form a group.
