Description

This is a row of cottages built in the mid-19th century, located on New Road. The row consists of numbers 38 to 48. The cottages are constructed of gault brick with a pantile roof and feature three ridge chimneys. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The front elevation has a six-window range on each floor; five windows on each floor retain their original hung sashes with glazing bars. There are five front doors, and a side entry to the cottage at the end of the row. The cottages are included in the listing primarily for their group value.
