Church, dated 1857 on stone panel to south gable end. Gault brick with red brick details to door and window surrounds. Steeply pitched roof of slate with dentil eaves cornice. South end has gabled bell-cote above three lancets. Nave of four bays divided by two stage buttressing, each with a lancet. East end apsed. Gabled, brick porch to east side. Interior has C18 font of alabaster. Bowl on baluster stem. Pevsner (Buildings of England) p.450.
