Description
The Church of Corpus Christi, built in 1857, is located on the north side of Front Road in Murrow. It is constructed of gault brick with red brick detailing around the doors and windows. The church features a steeply pitched slate roof with a dentil eaves cornice. The south end includes a gabled bell-cote situated above three lancet windows. The nave consists of four bays, separated by two-stage buttressing, each featuring a lancet window. The east end is apsed, and there is a gabled brick porch on the east side. Inside, the church contains an 18th-century alabaster font, which has a bowl on a baluster stem.
