Description

This is a barn located to the north of Number 23, known as Ivy House, and dates from the mid-17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded, featuring a brick plinth. The roof is thatched and has a hipped side purlin design. The barn consists of four bays and includes double doors with opposing gabled outshuts. There is a gable extension to the north that was added in the 19th century, which houses a slaughterhouse that retains its original wheel for trussing carcasses.
