Description

No. 6 High Street is a pair of cottages that form a row, built in two phases during the mid-19th century. They are constructed of red brick and topped with a slate roof that is hipped at the north end. The building has two ridge stacks and stands two storeys tall.

On the first floor, there are six recessed sixteen-paned hung sash windows set within cambered brick arches. The ground floor features four similar but larger windows along with one casement window. There are two doors, both framed with reeded wooden architraves and flat canopies. The left door is five-panelled, while the right door is half-glazed. This property is included for its group value with No. 10.
