Description

This barn, located 40 meters south of Ivy Farmhouse, dates back to 1727. It is constructed from brick and flint and features a thatched roof. The barn is a single storey and has sliding timber doors on the north side, accompanied by two vertical ventilation slits to the right. The gabled roof has gable heads supported by kneelers. There is a window in the east gable wall and a loading door on the west side. The south side is made of flint and displays vertically placed brick diamond diapering beneath the brick numerals indicating the year 1727. The roof structure includes tie beams, principals, and two tiers of butt purlins, along with two tiers of collars and straight windbracing below the lower purlins.
