Description

No. 52 High Street is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of narrow red and yellow brick with broad mortar courses. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, featuring a ridge stack made of gault brick. The building has a lobby entry plan and consists of one storey and an attic. There are two 19th-century gabled dormers and two windows on either side of the doorway opposite the stack; these windows are from the 20th century but are likely in their original positions. The brickwork of this cottage resembles that of Nos. 10 and 12 High Street, Bottisham.
