Description

This house dates from around 1830. It is a two-storey building constructed of gault brick, with a low-pitched slate roof and end chimney stacks. The building has a double-pile plan, meaning it has two rows of rooms, and an additional service and workshop area at the rear. The front elevation is symmetrical, featuring three recessed sash windows on each floor, each with sixteen panes of glass. The central doorway is framed by fluted pilasters and a plain entablature. The building is listed for its group value, meaning it contributes to the character of the surrounding area.
