Description

Addison House is a late 18th-century house, extended around 1830. It is constructed of brick, painted, with a steeply pitched slate roof originally thatched, featuring end parapets and end stacks. The house has two storeys and an attic with a band at eaves height and between the storeys, and includes two dormers. The front features five mid-19th century flush frame sash windows, each with twelve panes. The central doorway has a flat hood supported on console brackets, with panelled reveals. A rear range was added around 1830; this is built of gault brick with a low-pitched, hipped slate roof and two storeys.
