Description

Park Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the north-west side of Snailwell Road, Chippenham. It is constructed of gault brick with a plain tile roof and end stacks. The building presents a symmetrical facade across two storeys, with a single-storey kitchen wing to the left and a workshop wing to the right. A sawtooth brick cornice runs along the eaves. The first floor features three flush-framed, twelve-paned hung sash windows within cambered, gauged brick arches, each with a stone sill. A central recessed doorway is approached by three steps, leading to a six-panelled door and a false, rectangular fanlight. There are also two flat-roofed canted bay windows with hung sashes, and a single hung sash window in a segmental arch to the left-hand wing.
