Description

No. 8 High Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick in Flemish bond and features a slate roof with end stacks. The building has two storeys and displays segmental arches above four first-floor sixteen-pane flush frame hung sashes. The doorway is topped with a round-headed arch and includes a reeded doorcase with decorative boss enrichments. The entrance features a sixteen raised and fielded panelled door, which has lobed glazing in the fanlight above.
