Description

This barn, dating to around 1840, is located south of the Home Farmhouse on Chapel Street in Stretham. It is constructed of gault brick with a slate roof and features a gable end facing the road. The barn has five bays. The road-facing end is two stories high, with a boarded, pitched roof door set above two cartway openings, each beneath a segmental arch. A barn doorway is situated in the south wall, and there is an aisle along the centre bays of the north side. The building is listed for its group value and contribution to the surrounding historical landscape.
