Description

The building is a coach house and granary dating from 1843, located at Number 2 (Home Farmhouse) on Chapel Street in Stretham. It features a front wall made of gault brick in Flemish bond, with mixed gault and red brick on the side and rear walls. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The coach house has three bays and is two storeys high. The first floor granary includes two louvred ventilation openings and a pitching door with a boarded door. On the ground floor, there are three double doorways for the coach house, each set in segmental arches. A stone panel on the front wall of the first floor displays the date 1843 and the initials E.D.
