Description

This is a cottage, originally dating from the 17th century, with an 18th-century cross-wing added to the east where an end room once stood. The walls are rendered clunch, and the roof is covered with red pantiles, featuring parapet gables and end stacks. The cottage is one storey tall with an attic. It has two plain tile gabled dormer windows. The ground floor has three modern windows and a boarded entrance door. A 19th-century extension is attached to the south, with a gault pantile roof and a single dormer window, as well as modern shop windows. Inside, a roll-moulded mantel beam and an axial beam are present. A plastered panel on the west gable bears the date 1646, but is now covered.
