Description

There are three 17th century headstones located on the north side of the path leading to the north porch, approximately twenty-five yards away. The inscriptions on these stones are mostly indecipherable.

The first headstone features a skull and cross-bones, accompanied by a central cherub and decorative swags. The second has cross bones with an hourglass topped by a winged skull. The third is a large rectangular stone with an inscription above it.

These three headstones are part of a larger group of twenty-two from the 17th and 18th centuries, some of which are illustrated in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments for North-East Cambridgeshire.
