Description
Parker Street features a row of six houses, numbered 1 to 6, which date back to 1838 as indicated by the initials found at the rear of No 5. These houses are constructed from grey gault brick and are arranged in pairs, separated by arched through passages. The front of the building is divided into equal sections by brick pilasters that support a plain entablature. Each house has two storeys and consists of three bays, with two windows in the outer bays. The windows are mostly sash style, with glazing bars, and there is a small sash window above the door. The plain doors of Nos 2 and 3 are topped with pediments. The row is capped with a slate roof. This group of houses, Nos 1 to 13, is recognized for its architectural significance.
