Description

Fisher House is a building dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, consisting of two houses that are linked and positioned at right angles to each other. The structure has two storeys with attics, featuring a modern brick ground floor and a projecting upper storey from around 1700. The upper storey is timber-framed and plastered, with three windows that have flush frames, segmental heads, and hung sashes with glazing bars. The building is topped with a modillioned wooden eaves cornice and has three hipped dormers. Inside, one room contains 18th-century panelling that originally came from No 58 St Andrew's Street, and there is a notable staircase.
