Description

16 King's Parade is a 17th-century building that has been extensively altered in the 19th century. It features plastered timber-framing and stands three storeys tall with attics. The structure includes some brick and has a tiled roof, with a moulded wood eaves-cornice. There is a central projecting bay on the first and second floors, which has two lights in the front and one light on each side, although some glazing bars are missing. Above, there is a hipped dormer window. The building also has a late 19th-century shop front and displays sham timber-framing on the front. All the listed buildings on the east side of King's Parade form a group.
