Description
31 Magdalene Street is a building that was remodeled around 1800. It has a timber-framed and plastered structure with a moulded cornice beneath a tall parapet. The street front features three windows with hung sashes, architraves, and glazing bars. There is a simple shop front of a comparatively modern date. On the river front, there is a two-storeyed bay window with hung sashes, glazing bars, and a moulded cornice. Inside, some 16th-century panelling remains alongside many 18th-century internal features. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 18 and Nos 20 to 31.
