Description

This building on Orchard Street, situated on the east side of Clarendon Street, dates to around 1825. The two adjacent properties at numbers 14 and 15 Orchard Street were demolished in the mid-19th century. It is a one-storey and attic structure built of gault brick, topped with a tiled mansard roof. The central doorway is distinguished by painted plaster pilasters, a pseudo-entablature, and a shaped metal hood, sheltering a glass door. There is a window on each side of the doorway; one is an original sash window with glazing bars, while the other is a modern bay window.
