Description

TRINITY COLLEGE 1. 942 L-shaped wall on river front in South-west portion of the garden, abutting on Garrett Hostel Lane. TL 4458 NE 3/301 26.4.50. II 2. Brick wall of C18 or earlier date containing a series of stone heraldic cartouches. The 4 cartouches are late C17 and are probably by Robert Grumbold. They are the arms of Nevile (twice). Saclter and Babington. They were moved from Nevile's Court in the C18. (RCHM).
