Description

The boundary wall to the pleasure garden at Haslingfield Manor dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring a mix of English bond and Flemish bond, with some dressed clunch on the west side next to the house. The wall is divided into panels by pilasters that extend down to a plinth. At the top, it has gabled coping with a dentil cornice. The entrance is located on the east side, flanked by rusticated piers that have moulded bases and cappings. Additionally, there is a doorway in the south wall that has a round-headed arch supported by responds.
