Description

The Walled Garden at Belhus Park, surrounding Irvine Gardens, was built in 1744 for Lord Dacre. It features kitchen garden walls constructed of Flemish bond brick with recessed panels, bordered by a bull-nosed plinth, raised pilasters, and a brick on edge parapet. The garden encloses an area of approximately 80 by 110 meters and is one of the few remaining structures from the Belhus Park estate.
