Description

The Crown and Anchor Hotel is a 15th-century house that features a timber-framed and plastered structure topped with a red plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high and has an 18th-century parapet front with a four-window range of double-hung vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. The building retains its original crosswing at the west end, along with later extensions at the sides and rear. A simple pedimented doorcase completes the façade.
