Description

Easthorpe Hall is a 15th-century house that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has a central hall with gabled crossings and a window arrangement of 1, 2, and 1, consisting of double hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a simple pedimented doorcase, complete with brackets and panelled reveals. There are late 16th-century red brick chimney stacks, some of which have been partly rebuilt, and a 17th-century extension at the rear. Inside, the frame is exposed, showcasing a crown post roof in the east wing. The interior also includes two late 16th-century fireplaces with four-centred arches and several 17th-century doors.
