Description

Winterfloods Farmhouse is a late 16th century house that is timber framed and plastered. It has two storeys and a red plain tile roof, featuring a gabled cross wing at the north end. The house has two windows on the ground floor that are double hung with glazing bars, and double hung sashes with side lights on the first floor. The central entrance door is adorned with moulded architraves and a simple pediment head supported by brackets. There is a late 16th century central chimney stack made of red brick, along with a late 19th century red brick chimney stack at the north end. Internally, the house displays chamfered bridging joists and floor joists. There have been external alterations to the property.
