Description

The Royal Oak Inn is a house dating from the 15th or 16th century, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high and features gabled crosswings at each end, which were formerly jettied but are now underbuilt. The building has a window arrangement of 1:2:1, with 19th-century double hung vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. A modern gabled porch, also with a red plain tile roof, has been added. The property is complemented by red brick chimney stacks.
