Description

The garden walls and gateway at Little Belhus date from the mid-16th century and are constructed of red brick, featuring gabled capping. The entrance gateway is plastered and has a four-centred arch flanked by pilasters, topped with a frieze and cornice. Above the cornice, there is an original ornamental gable that contains a cast-iron rectangular panel displaying the Stuart Royal Arms, which dates from between 1603 and 1689.
