Description

Laburnam, Middle Cottage, and Old Post Cottage is a 16th century house located on the north side of High Road in Stifford. The building is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. It is two stories tall and has an H-plan layout, featuring gabled and jettied crosswings. The west wing includes two 18th century double hung vertical sliding sash windows, while the other windows are early 19th century cast iron casements with small panes. The entrance features an 18th century door with a hood supported by shaped brackets.
