Description

Laburnum Cottage is an 18th-century house, with later additions, originally timber-framed and plastered, and standing on a brick base. The house is two storeys high with attics, and includes a gabled wing to the south. A single-storey extension serves as an off-licence store, located at the north end. The front elevation has a 2:1 window arrangement featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A central doorway is flanked by a six-panel door topped with an open pediment supported by shaped brackets. The roof is tiled. Laburnum Cottage is part of a group which includes Thorley's Farmhouse, Glenmore, Thorley’s Cottage, Runnymede Cottage, Runnymede Foxes and Maltings.
