Description

Lilac, Viola, and Wren Cottages are a 17th-century terrace of three cottages located on the north side of High Road in Stifford. The cottages are timber-framed and plastered, topped with thatched roofs. They stand two storeys tall and feature a six-window range of 18th-century double-hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. A central gabled dormer adds to the architectural interest, while red brick chimney stacks and two lean-to thatched porches complete the exterior.
