The cottage adjoining North Shoebury Post Office is an 18th-century timber-framed and weatherboarded house featuring two gabled wings on the south side. It has one storey and attics, with casement windows that include glazing bars and boarded doors. The roof is tiled and has three sloping roofed dormer windows on the north side.
