Description

The White House is a 18th century yellow brick house located on Shoebury Road in North Shoebury. It incorporates an earlier structure and features two storeys with attics. The east front has a five-window range, with double hung sashes that include single vertical glazing bars set in plain reveals. A central glazed door is accessed by a flight of steps and is framed by a wood doorcase that has a moulded architrave and a dentilled pediment supported by console brackets. The roof is tiled, double-pitched, and has gables at both the north and south ends.
