Description

The Old Post Office, also known as Old Post Office Cottage, is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house that has been divided into two tenements. It has one storey and attics, featuring casement windows. The cottage at the eastern end includes two small 18th-century style shop windows, which are modern but have glazing bars. There is one boarded door and one six-panel door with an architrave and cornice. The roofs are thatched and include one gabled dormer. The Old Post Office and Old Post Office Cottage, along with Sunny Cottages (Nos 1 & 2) and The Nook, form a group of buildings.
