Description

The Old Rectory, also known as The Sue Ryder Home, is a 16th-century house that features a timber frame and plaster exterior. It has undergone significant alterations and additions in the 20th century. The building has gabled crosswings that project at both the east and west ends. The east wing includes a jettied upper storey with exposed timber-framing. At the rear, there is a long wing that extends from the main structure. The house is two storeys tall, and most of the windows are 20th-century casements with lattice leaded lights. The roof is tiled.
