Description
No. 17 Church Hill is an 18th-century house constructed of coursed stone, topped with a Collyweston slate roof featuring coped gable ends. The building is two storeys high with attics and has a three-window range, which includes flat wooden lintels and modern casements with glazing bars. The plain doorway is complemented by a rectangular fanlight and a modern panelled door. There is a band between the storeys and two hipped dormers with casements. Brick chimney stacks are located at both ends of the house. To the right (north) is a single-storey extension from the 18th or 19th century, made of stone rubble and also featuring a Collyweston stone roof, with one modern window.
