Description
26 Peterborough Road is a 17th-century cottage that has been converted into a single dwelling. The building is constructed from coursed stone and has an L-shaped layout. It features a thatched roof with coped gable ends and is one storey high with an attic. The part of the cottage facing the road has one gabled dormer and a combination of one, two, and three-light casement windows with glazing bars, along with an end brick chimney stack. To the north, there is a rear wing from the 18th century, which includes casement windows, two dormers, and a garage that has been added at the ground floor. This section also has two brick ridge stacks.
