Description
Scotsmans Lodge is a 18th century farmhouse that was formerly known as Helpston Heath Farmhouse, with a mid 19th century wing. The building is constructed of coursed stone and features a Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there is a 19th century sash on the first floor that has an arched head. At the east end, there is a canted first floor bay window. The building has end and ridge stacks. The mid 19th century gabled cross wing at the west end is made of dressed stone and also has a Collyweston stone roof with a coped gable, featuring sashes with glazing bars in plain stone surrounds.
