Description

Number 18 (Old Oak Cottage) and Number 20 are early 18th century cottages that were once an inn. They are built of coursed stone rubble, with Number 20 being whitewashed. The cottages have a thatched roof with gabled ends and are one storey high with an attic. There are four windows in total, featuring two- and three-light casements with glazing bars. The entrances consist of two plank doors, and there are four eyebrow dormers. The cottages also have brick chimney stacks at the ridge and ends.
