Description

The dovecote, located immediately to the north-west of No 16 (Clare Cottage), dates from the 18th century. It features a tablet inscribed with "A" over "W.S. 1760". The structure is built of coursed stone and has a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends, presenting a rectangular shape. The lower part of the south wall has been altered to create a garage, with a sundial positioned above it. The gable openings are glazed, and inside, there are nesting boxes with stone ledges.
