Description

Willow Gate and the adjoining outbuilding to the east are early 18th century structures located on Helpston Road in Bainton. The cottage is built from coursed stone and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. It has one storey and an attic, with three eyebrow dormers that contain casement windows, and two modern casement windows on the ground floor. A wide thatched hood covers the modern central door. The cottage has brick stacks at each end. The adjoining byre to the right, also constructed of coursed stone, continues the thatched roof and includes a boarded door and a loft door in the end gable.
