Description
This is an early 19th century cottage located on Woodgate in Helpston. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and features a Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. The building stands two storeys high and has a two-window range with 19th century two-light casements that have segmental stone arches. The central doorway has been blocked, and a window has been inserted in its place, while a modern door is located on the left side. The cottage has red brick end chimney stacks. Additionally, there is a 19th century stone rubble extension attached to the north end of No 21, which has a lower pantile roof and a gabled end. This building is included for its group value.
