Description

This 18th-century terrace of houses sits on a corner site, encompassing Nos 5 and 6 Abbey Place and Nos 20 and 21 Church Street. The buildings are constructed of yellow brick with a steeply pitched roof of Collyweston stone, featuring gabled ends and a hipped corner. The terrace is two storeys high with an attic. It comprises five bays on one side and eight bays on the corner. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within flush casings. No. 6 has a 19th-century shop window with glazing bars, pilasters and a fascia with a cornice. Hipped dormers light the attic. A string course runs along the first-floor level. The property features brick ridge stacks.
