Description
The premises occupied by J R Drury and numbers 1 and 2 Abbey Place is an 18th-century brick range of houses featuring a Collyweston stone roof with a hipped end. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and has a total of nine window openings, two of which are blind. The windows are mostly sash style with glazing bars, set in flush casings. Numbers 1 and 2 Abbey Place have plain doorways, while J R Drury's premises include a 19th-century double fronted shop window with pilasters and a blind case. The building also features six hipped dormers and brick ridge stacks. The rear wing of J R Drury is part of number 7 and the cottages on Wisbech Road.
