Description

The gate piers located to the north-north-east of Thorney Abbey and Abbey House are large, rusticated stone structures dating from the late 17th century. They feature gables, cornices, and ball finials. However, during the survey in 1979, it was noted that the cap and finial had been removed from the northernmost pier.
