Description

Nos 5, 7, 8, and 9 on Whittlesey Road are a row of 18th-century brick cottages. They feature a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends and brick dentil eaves. The cottages are one storey with an attic and have a six-window range. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars, and there are six gabled dormers with casements. The doors are made of planks, although No 9 has a modern glazed door. The ground floor has segmental-headed openings, and there are larger brick stacks at the ridge.
